Kasper from Copenhagen
Rough and urban. Street style and trash. Kasper Harup-Hansen's new menswear collection for 2008 is very down-to-earth, not to say on-the-muddy-ground. The styles are very relaxed, casual and unagitated.

Style Illustrated Pt.I
Maybe one year ago I started working on a little series of illustrations that I would like to share with you. Key to these images is the composition of shapes and colors. For me it's often the colors that make an oufit perfect. It's like painting. And sometimes it's about taking the risk to mismatch, leaving all rules behind and creating an unique 'Stil'. The combination of 80s red/mustard yellow/petrol blue is one of my all-time favorites.
Stay colored!

Today I finally reveived my sexy FURNI x CH watch! The all-white Farmer is an 80s-style LCD watch with lime green accents, engraved with the Duran Duran quote "we're on the hunt, we're after you" on the reverse.

In Bath
"Mach' mich sauber!" - Referring to Lynn's philosophy of life, this time it's all about taking a bath, undressing for a shower, duping the body. So get yourself a towel...

In Bed
The Lynn & Horst series about intimate photography continues. As promised, we'll see a lot of bed sheets and a lot of crinkles. Half-naked boys and half-naked girls... And as special featured part: floral prints. So let's go to bed.

In Nature
In the last time I recognized a lot of talented photographers who focus on one particular subject: boys & nature. What all of them have in common is their pure and un-sugarcoated approach and their sense for intimate moments. An aesthetic that strongly appeals to me and seems to capture the emotional now.

I want it tee way
I'm not the biggest fan of egypt stuff like pharaohs, pyramids and mummies. Maybe some of you know this eye-poisoning terrible and ugly colored glitter sand paintings, can you remember? I hate them! But when something is so bad it hurts, there's something undefinable that appeals to me. And that's what I feel when I see these tees:
Left Brendan Donnelly
Right Jeremy Scott
Brendan Donnelly and Jeremy 'God' Scott seem to share the same idea. And it works, I cannot help but loving the motif. I want it!

Belgian Hot White Chocolate
As fenke commented in our Chritian Wijnant feature "Belgian fashion is just great". And the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp always stands for excellent graduates such as bruno Pieters who worked as assistant for labels like Martin Margiela or Christian Lacroix Haute Couture. In march 2006 Karl Lagerfeld photographed bruno for “Madame Figaro” magazine. The photoshoot featured 30 of Paris best designers...
But there are two things I don't like: the model and the shoes...

Everbody needs a thrill
Kim Jones is more than just cutting-edge. Not only the collections but the imagery and aesthetics of the whole brand communication touch my heart - visually and emotionally. With his bubblegum-esque collection video Poplife Kim Jones once again prooves that he's driving the fashion world for a good reason.
