Rag & Bone Fall/Winter 2010

Never really found access to Rag & Bone. Never felt attracted to what it stands for. Never liked camouflage. Never appreciated a colour palette of khaki, green and brown. Never been a fan of tartans either. In summation, so it seems, everything accursed becomes tempting, almost likeable.

This lady decided to do it the Dries van Noten way! Pattern versus pattern for a more sophisticated and eclectic look. Of course she knew she would pass by matching tulip tubs to make her outfit complete. Ahh, and do we even see a Louis Vuitton bag in that thrilling combination??? No - she sticks to the original. That's authentic high street fashion!

Rene Gurskov Fall/Winter 2008

Rene Gurskov - a man to adore. His designs as subtle and smart as one longs for. His vision of male beauty and identity fits 1:1 to my self-conception. Concepts of the 'ideal me'. Just look at the leather waistcoat and the tartan scarf, allowing intelligent layering with well dosed 90s references. Lynn & Horst are more then content.
