Chanel Spring 2010 Haute Couture Show

According to Karl Lagerfeld, he had never done a collection without black or navy except for his Spring 2010 Collection for Chanel. For his Spring 2010 Haute Couture Show, Lagerfeld chose a silver and pastel theme. The models sported heart-shaped cartoonish hair, shorts suits, bubble skirts, flowing togas and rococo-heeled silver booties. Trivia: According to Instyle.com, Karl Lagerfeld used the heart-shaped hairdo of Lady Gaga for the show.

Giorgio Armani Prive Spring 2010 Haute Couture Show

For his Spring 2010 Haute Couture Show, Giorgio Armani got his inspiration from the moon in order to come up with a romantic and dreamy collection. As a result, the runway was dominated by luminescent fabrics, curviform cutting, embroideries that look like the moon craters, and crescent-shaped hairdo. For the evening wear, Giorgio Armani's Spring 2010 Collection include sparkling silver beading, pale metallic pinks and greens and some shades of electric blue. A Russian Meat Fashion Show by Goodman Steak House

I was shocked when I saw the photos of a fashion show where models strutted the runway with outfits made from raw meat. The fashion show was organized by Goodman Steak House of Russia. During the show, models paraded a beef skirt, a filet mignon purse, a necklace of ribs and other meat clothes and accessories.










I suddenly remembered last year's episode of America's Next Top Model when models wore meat underwear.

What would PETA say about this gross event? Personally, I felt sad that some people chose to waste the life of those poor animals. Obviously, they are not contented with eating meat, they also want to wear them. Such a barbaric act! Any reactions?

London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010 Highlights

Check out the runway highlights from Burberry, Peter Pilotto, Roksanda Ilincic and Basso & Brooke during the London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010 last week.

Burberry

The Burberry show in London was flooded by celebrities like Emma Watson, Victoria Beckham, Liv Tyler and Freida Pinto. Burberry's collection for next year's spring and summer season was consist of nude palette. The pieces came in pale hues of pink, grey, blue and lemon yellow. Models walked in the runway with ruffles, body-hugging drapes and frills, skirts and tops that are accessorized by skinny leather belts.

Roksanda Ilincic

Roksanda's collection was comprise of silk fabrics in nude, bronze, turquoise and black colors. You will also see double breasted trenches with bold shoulders, wide pants and maxiskirts.

Peter Pilotto

Sun-bleached fabrics were dominant in Peter Pilotto's collection that ranges from grey to blue to yellow and green colors. Bold shoulders, asymmetric frocks and fold-over skirts paraded the catwalk.

Basso & Brooke

Basso & Brooke's creations were full of colorful prints. Models wore sexy dresses and minidresses that made them look more sassy.

Classic. That's the theme for Prada's Fall 2010 collection that was showcased on Milan Fashion Week. According to Miuccia Prada, she revised her nineties creations and came up with the Fall 2010 collection. Models paraded in the runway in classic dresses and 1960's beehives. Our favorite Victoria's Secret Angels like Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr and Doutzen Kroes plus Victoria's Secret model Lara Stone were among the models who strutted down the runway.
