Bestiality

John Galliano Fall/Winter 2007

The best Galliano menswear show ever. Post-apocalyptic monsters constituted of dirt, oil and cables. Creatures of raw sexuality. Evoking mud fight fantasies.

Domestic Scene

Artworks David Hockney

Tonight my heart belongs to the arts. In particualar these delicate 60s paintings. Keith Haring has to share me with David Hockney. Doesn't this evoke a beautiful image?

Hero Worship

Part 8: Keith Haring

Keith Haring is awkward sexy. Quite adorable. Although I do have a very antithetic relationship with his work. I love it and I hate it. So ridiculous and colourful. So consequent and passionate.

Fetish

Photos Maison Martin Margiela

Horst surely prefers denim in one particular condition: short and ripped. Exclusively for Mahret I went through my archives and selected two of the most beautiful reference images. Fur the full ripped experience click here.

Remake Blunder

Original vs. Fake

I waited roughly 3 months to get this Acne pouch as it was sold out quite fast. They promised it would be on stock again in November. And yes, finally here it is. The terrible thing is that they did not reproduce exactly the same pouch, but added an awful picture of the Ance house! What is this?! Why didn't they just print the logo across the whole pouch? It looks like one I could buy at Woolworth Frankfurt in the sale area.

Evil Brain Fight

Maria Melinder Graduate Collection vs. Krang

Somehow, don't ask me why, this look reminded me of a brain. But not just a brain, the brain. The evil brain from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Life is beautiful.

For Paulchen

Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2009

Sometimes one can't resist over the top drama. Severe pieces. Breathing and screaming. It is all about the dress, owning the moment. Nothing else needed.

Retouch and scrawl. Cut and paste. Portraits of blindness that follow the principles of pop. Quoting and re-assembling, scratching on the surface, creating beauty.

Furious

Prada Fall/Winter 2007

How amazing was this collection. I am still holding my breath. Massive fur attraction. So wonderful and soft as cotton candy and chest hair. Excuse my weird connotations. But this is the eptiome of a winter collection.

Idyll

Although she detests this season, Lynn pocketed her bad-quality mobile camera and stormed out into a beautiful fall day. What she found was a magnificent landscape. Unexpected and worth a sigh. Her recommendation: Move your ass!
