The image of Jil Sander has always been linked with the minimalist aspect. Purism and simplicity. Once regarding a whole decade, the aesthetics do not appear so radically restraint. Clothes that are subtly complicated from the inside. And intellectual from the outside. Personally, I think that it was Raf Simons who revived the brand's true essence and character of what everyone primarily perceived to symbolize Jil Sander.
