The Return

1. Sean & Seng, Damir Doma
2. Robert Mapplethorpe, Petar Petrov
3. Robert Mapplethorpe, Ann Demeulemeester

As previously indicated Paris promoted a beautiful dark twisted fantasy of male sexuality. Paris gave men leather pants. It's a question of belief. And baby, I believe that you were ment for me. And if there's somebody, then baby I believe.

Le 23 Dimanche

Collections Wooyoungmi, Ryunshu, Qasimi

Paris is going all leather, And tribal. De mon plaisir! Do I have to feel wrong and guilty if I like that? Will I go to goa techno parties all summer? Probably not. But I will dream of it. Peut-ĂȘtre.

Singularity

Raf Simons Fall/Winter 2011

This collection is not going to be produced - so they say. Well who gives me a neoprene college T-shirt now? Where is my flattened 2D coat? Where my black trash bag plastic trousers? It's a sad sad world.

Le 22 Samedi

Collections Maison Martin Margiela, Bernhard Willhelm, Mihara Yasuhiro, Tillmann Lauterbach, Damir Doma, Raf Simons

9 shows, 1 presentation and Marc Jacobs gloves for 3 Euros. Mon jour en chiffres. The image quality is bad as always and photoshopped to death - but the colouration sums up this season's feeling of Paris quite well. Note: fluorescent belts and black plastic trousers at Raf Simons.

Hype Re-Hype

Kris van Assche Fall/Winter 2011

Yesterday I officially declared the rise of a new emperor. Kris van Assche redeemed my dehydrated body with vitamin water and an outstandingly good collection. Sleek skinny suits with slightly displaced pockets. Oversized dress-like jumpers. Fashion orgasm.

P.S.: Tony Ward sat front row.

Le 21 Vendredi

Collections Julius, Walter van Beirendonck, Kris van Assche, Cerruti, Henrik Vibskov, John Galliano

Paris blackberry diary day two. Highlights include Tony Ward at the best show so far: Kris van Assche. And Russian ballet at John Galliano, reading Sophokles while waiting for the gender snow storm to start.

Trojan Horse

Dries van Noten Fall/Winter 2011

Set in an ancient-mystical scenery, eternal remembrance might not apply to this collection's pieces. The hype of the season left indifferent. Only noteworthy with its fur-lined lapels and colour-block trousers. Je suis desolée.

Le 20 Jeudi

Collections Juun J, John Lawrence Sullivan, Jean Paul Gaultier, Smalto & Dries van Noten

Encore une fois: A first glimpse and blurry view onto the exhilarating adventures of Horst in Paris. Captured with the worst of all photographic devices. Crispy documents that will later be followed by selected reviews.

My Prerogative

1. Ann Demeulemeester Spring/Summer 2011
2. Andy Warhol
3. Julius Spring/Summer 2011

Mental preparations. Less than two weeks left. Synchronizing memories and assembling formal elements, abstract impressions. How would one describe it? How would one wear it? It's an amour fou.
