Razor Thorn

Jacket JULIAANDBEN

A rare feeling. Putting on a garment for the very first time - and knowing it's perfection. Love at first sight. Let's never break up. Let's walk through the sun and through the rain.

Confessions Of An Exhibitionist

Artworks Ellsworth Kelly

Fresh flowers, a glass of red wine. Intellectual thoughts lead to exceptional characters. Reminding myself of which paths my mind seeks to explore. I want nothing. Just nakedness.

Transmitter Medium

Maison Martin Margiela Spring/Summer 2011

Logical and consequent. Reducing the garment to a flat, non-dimensional shape. Re-using the female body as nothing but its theoretical framework. Oversized forms forced into fit. Acrylic glass window displays exceeded into jewellery.

Tachycardia

Yves Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2011

I got shivers and a warm feeling inside my stomach when this collection ascended in my consciousness. It left me satisfied. The proportions, the architectual, the feminity. Stefano Pilati reigns on the highest ranks.

Longitude

Akris Spring/Summer 2010

Lately, it is a full-length dress that I find most appealing. In fact, everything full-length is attractive.

Sculptures

Cut-away views. Undulated shapes interfering with each other, creating space of nothingness in their centre. A black leather glove, inexistent yet present.

Aboulomania

Yves Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2010

Amazingness. I thought I won't be into luxury shopping next season? Well, I was wrong. Paris turns the tide. Seems like floating shapes gain fahion dictatorship.

Red Light

Maj Anja Turesson London College of Fashion BA Womenswear 2009

Literally interweaving Swedish handicraft tradition with futuristic textiles and severe cuts. Exaggerating form and structure, highlighted by intense colour and shine.

If I

"Hungry for life
And thirsty for the distant river
Like the scar of age
Written all over my face
The war is still raging inside of me
I still feel the chill
As I reveal my shame to you
I wear it like a tattoo"

White Tile Fight

Gareth Pugh Spring/Summer 2009 vs. Zanotta Quaderna

I like both. But maybe the desk is a bit more practical. Cause I don't know if Horst could pull off that dress.

King Kong

Christopher Kane Spring/Summer 2009

We are all always looking for something fresh and unseen. And one easily tends to think that fashion just repeats itself. So this collection is a great relief. Christopher Kane went beyond expectations.

The A-List

Ok, I tried to pick my favorites of Acne AW08 but it was tough. Not really convinced yet. The use of black and leather is quite nice. Zipper and gather details too. But the rest is just boring. Somehow I don't want to own it. Have I missed a thing that makes the pieces standing out?
