Innuendo

Glasses Giorgio Armani
Vest Whyred
Waistcoat Acne
Trousers Carin Wester

Somehow swayed by previous Yves Saint Laurent collections, I took inspiration across the seasons and matched voluminous trousers with a fitted vest that, once put together, evoked the look of a jumpsuit. At least I imagined so.

Harmless

Gaspard Yurkievich Spring/Summer 2010

A little bit of Gaspard Yurkievich can never do wrong. I strongly recommend biceps and triceps exposure for summer. Either by wearing a voluminous top or waistcoats with bare arms.

Sehnsucht

Top David Slijper for New York Style Magazine
Bottom Blank Spring/Summer 2010 Lookbook

Lately, I feel highly attracted to Tuareg/nomad inspired desert suits. Wide trousers, long linen shirts, a lot of white, crispy structures and sheerness. Sandals and sand. Pleats and dunes.

Litigation

Raf Simons Spring/Summer 2006

Another remarkable body of evidence for Raf Simons' ingeniousness. Formal innocence conquered by structure, neglect and deletion. Cutout shirts and sheer coats threatened by overdimensioned trousers. The sentence: Guilty.

Adolescence

Raf Simons Fall/Winter 2005

I love the old Raf Simons collections so much, but I don't own a single piece. Isn't it dramatic. It may be explained by the fact that my fashion consciousness just began to materialize with the very beginning of this blog. Shame on me.

Self-Reliance

Matthew Ames Spring/Summer 2010

A clear vision. A strict concept. Visualized through exaggerated feminity and superposed shapes. A signature and unique design language that repeats itself until it evolves into an aestehtic symphony.

Voluptuous

Meadham Kirchhoff Spring/Summer 2010

A wonderful soft structure, voluminous and frail. Broken brides. Multiplied and exaggerated by a correspondingly bulged sculpture.

Light And Darkness

Peachoo+Krejberg Spring/Summer 2010

While other collections (unuttered reference to Gareth Pugh's pale descendants of death) scare me, these soft silhouettes and geometric black & white prints just captured my heart.

Pleated

Photos David Sims

I am in love with this Arena Homme + editorial as I would like to nuzzle myself in these super wide, tent-like trousers. My hunt for this object of desire has begun.

Vintage Raf

His design language is omnipresent in today's fashion. High-volume layering, restraint and severe, rebellious and programmatically dark. Especially for you, Horst picked the Best of Raf Simons.

Dirty Desires

Rozalb de Mura Fall/Winter 2009

I do love Rozalb de Mura and I always will. First of all the nonchalant attitude, the subtle detailing, the deformed shapes. Nice colour palette, a striking presentation and most important: an adorable all-in-one. I'm hooked.

Solitude

Damir Doma Fall/Winter 2009

Very melancholic, pure and intense. A bit pyjama like, layers of bed sheets thrown over your body, random and spontaneous. Very comfy and cozy, clothes embracing your body like a secure soft shield. Are you in love?
