Paris is going all leather, And tribal. De mon plaisir! Do I have to feel wrong and guilty if I like that? Will I go to goa techno parties all summer? Probably not. But I will dream of it. Peut-être. /HORST
Set in an ancient-mystical scenery, eternal remembrance might not apply to this collection's pieces. The hype of the season left indifferent. Only noteworthy with its fur-lined lapels and colour-block trousers. Je suis desolée. /HORST
Mental preparations. Less than two weeks left. Synchronizing memories and assembling formal elements, abstract impressions. How would one describe it? How would one wear it? It's an amour fou. /HORST
Aggressive skin girls without shaved heads or pitbull dogs. Promoting a hard-bitten version of feminity. Sheer blouses with collar pieces, chunky leather shoes and soft biker jackets. Fulfilling a phrase I always wanted to use. /HORST
Glasses Giorgio Armani Vest Whyred Waistcoat Acne Trousers Carin Wester
Somehow swayed by previous Yves Saint Laurent collections, I took inspiration across the seasons and matched voluminous trousers with a fitted vest that, once put together, evoked the look of a jumpsuit. At least I imagined so. /HORST
What a pleasingly nice collection. A light all-printed summer suit. A transparent grey nylon coat. And a cable knit twin set. With these offerings, Kenzo celebrates its well-deserved premiere on Lynn & Horst. /HORST
A reinforced laminate waistcoat. An example of artisanal craftsmanship. Clear evidence and perfect proof for the MMM ethos: redefinition of materials and calculated misappropriation. /HORST
An unstoppable inner force made me fall in love with this crispy white crinkled waistcoat. I couldn't resist the adrenaline rush. The result: A new piece in my collection and further proof for my waistcoat addiction. /HORST
A little bit of Gaspard Yurkievich can never do wrong. I strongly recommend biceps and triceps exposure for summer. Either by wearing a voluminous top or waistcoats with bare arms. /HORST
I quite adore the layering of this collection. Heavy knit cuffs, waistcoats, loose tapered trousers, overlong sleeves. This is how I like to dress. This is who I want to be. /HORST
Shirt Josef Lazo Waistcoat Maison Martin Margiela Jacket Acne Jeans Cheap Monday Briefs Yves Saint Laurent Brooch Vintage
One of my recent Paris outfits. Perfectly combining my most favourite pieces: A long see-through dress shirt, a vintage brooch, a skinny jacket, a MMM waistcoat. Each garment consummately indicating and describing who I am. /HORST
Not only showed Juun J. a proper winter collection, the pieces also persuaded thought-out complexity and wearability. The various scarf interpretations created a feminine counterpart to heavy unzippable leather jackets and evoked a 2010 Jüngling version of Grace Jones. My personal favourite though remained a grey deconstructed wool coat. /HORST
2003 and one designer should not be missing: Helmut Lang. His strap-cutout-reverse scenarios have conquered my heart and left me with the insatiable lust to compile a wardrobe of iconic Helmut pieces. /HORST
