Time Continuum

Yves Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2008

As a continuous principle, my love for collections grows in retrospect. In my eyes, Spring/Summer 2008 was a notably strong season. Stefano Pilati's vision is of timeless relevance and manifest in today's evolution in menswear. An aesthetic seemingly appreciated and consequently continued by Lucas Ossendrijver for Lanvin.

2008

Yves Saint Laurent Fall/Winter 2008

Stefano Pilati's severe vision of feminity. Translated via sheerness, volume and masculine references. Subtly, almost inwardly referring to the decade's dichotomy of gender definitions.

It's A Sin

Yves Saint Laurent Fall/Winter 2008

I haven't shown it yet, so it's time to look back (can be good sometimes) and pay homage to Stefano Pilati and his achievements for YSL. Sheer blouses, wide high-waisted trousers, male severeness, constructed silhouettes.
